Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support orthopedic patients and work closely with a large team of physicians across our many locations. The PTA will provide direct treatment, monitor progress, and help implement care plans in coordination with supervising therapists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must possess or be eligible for Tennessee PTA licensure and CPR certification.
• Caring, compassionate, independent, and determined.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Efficient time management and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality daily treatment for patients with orthopaedic conditions.
• Make assessments and observations to assist supervising PT with treatment plans.
• Conduct frequent updates with PTs, physicians, and patients about treatment progress.
• Assist PT in scheduling and accommodating patient treatment needs.
• Provide timely documentation, progress notes, and functional reports for insurers.
• Complete charging for services and supplies with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to Federal and State laws and service guidelines.
