Job summary

MPOWER Physical Therapy in Franklin, TN is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Technician to assist therapists with orthopedic care, administer modalities, and support patient exercise programs. You will help maintain a neat clinic and assist in scheduling patients.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree preferred, familiarity with MS Office and practice management software, and good communication skills for patient education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in orthopedic care preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise techniques.
• Working knowledge of basic anatomy.
• Completion of MPOWER Tech Training manual and exam after training.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Administer modalities under the direction of a therapist.
• Assist patients in performing their exercise programs.
• Maintain a neat and orderly clinic environment.
• Direct/transfer/transport patients to care areas as needed.
• Assist in daily operational duties and scheduling.
• Keep clinic supplies stocked and equipment maintained.
• Assist with patient scheduling and front desk tasks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
