Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem VA Medical Center is seeking an Orthopedic Physician to deliver comprehensive surgical and clinical services within an interdisciplinary team. You will supervise residents and ensure adherence to department policies while providing highquality orthopedic care.

The role requires a current US medical license, accredited residency, and board eligibility or certification.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency training approved by VA/ACGME or equivalent; eligibility for board certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including follow-up and emergency management.
• Perform orthopedic surgery in the operating and minor surgery settings.
• Conduct weekly outpatient and inpatient clinics and document care.
• Educate physicians, residents, and students in orthopedic principles and procedures.
