Job summary

The New Mexico VA Health Care System seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our Surgical Service team. You will provide comprehensive orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care for Veterans with musculoskeletal conditions, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting resident education through our academic affiliates.

Qualifications

• Must have MD/DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current full, unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States.
• completed orthopedic residency approved by credentialing bodies.
• Board certification or eligibility for orthopedic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care for Veterans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support resident education through academic affiliations.
• Fulfill standard clinical duties with on-site schedule and on-call duties.
