Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to join the Department of Surgery. The physician will provide clinical care across outpatient, inpatient, and operating room settings with assigned OR and clinic time and on-call duties.

Required license and board-eligible residency, proficiency in English, and experience in major joint reconstruction are preferred. EDRP and relocation incentives are available along with a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferred active practice as an Orthopedic Surgeon with experience in major joint reconstruction.
• Basic requirements include MD/DO degree and unrestricted medical license in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic care in outpatient, inpatient, and operating room settings.
• Deliver pre-op and post-op care for major and minor procedures.
• Perform surgeries and supervise residents and trainees as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation and ensure safety and quality in the Surgical Service.
• Participate in on-call coverage and administrative duties as assigned.
