Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality outpatient rehabilitation in collaboration with our physician teams. The role emphasizes comprehensive care, mentoring during ramp-up, and active participation in specialty groups and residency programs.

Base compensation varies by location with a strong benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, 401k with profit sharing, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in Illinois.
• Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds.
• Professional and effective writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional patient care.
• Interpret physician orders, perform initial evaluations and establish treatment plans and goals.
• Upgrade and amend treatment goals during the episode of care.
• Document patient status to physicians per IBJI rehab guidelines.
• Determine discharge timeline and follow up.
• Supervise Rehabilitation Technicians and support staff as needed.
• Maintain daily paperwork for PT/PTA/ATCs in patient charts.
• Maintain active state license by earning CEUs through IBJI sponsored opportunities.
• Develop positive relationships with IBJI physician teams.
• Participate in the patient care team and IBJI programs.
