Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Physical Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; DPT preferred.
• Board certification in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine is desirable.
• Experience with post-surgical patients and/or athletes is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Epic Hyperspace EMR is preferred.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques (Graston, Dry Needling, MDT, Mulligan).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations (goniometry, manual muscle testing, functional tests).
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with goals and physician recommendations.
• Apply therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve outcomes.
• Educate patients on conditions, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
• Document progress accurately in Epic Hyperspace and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, PTAs, OTs, and team for coordinated care.
• Supervise and mentor PTAs (1:1 ratio) and ensure continuity of care.
• Pursue ongoing education and contribute to department growth and innovations.
