Job summary

Genesis-Orthopedics- is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join our growing orthopedic team in Chicago. You will perform evaluations, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver hands-on therapy to a diverse patient population with a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, documentation in Epic Hyperspace, and ongoing professional growth, including advanced techniques such as Blood Flow Restriction

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations including goniometry and manual muscle testing
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities to reduce pain and improve function
• Educate patients on conditions, goals, and injury prevention
• Document progress using Epic Hyperspace EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• Supervise a 1:1 PT to PTA ratio
• Pursue continuing education including Blood Flow Restriction Therapy
