Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient account billing or payment posting experience.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance and patient payments into PAS per contract and EOB.
• Adjust account write-offs per explanations of benefits (EOB).
• Forward appeals to collectors and request refunds as needed.
• Post refunds in PAS after approvals and maintain documentation.
• Maintain three payment batches daily (mail, counter, credit cards).
• Provide professional reception support and assist front office as needed.
