Job summary

Memorial Hermann Rockets Orthopedic Hospital is seeking a clinical manager to lead the OR department, overseeing daily operations and staff development while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes, ensure compliance with standards, and support initiatives that improve the patient experience. Strong leadership and nursing management experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree required or documented plan to complete.
• Current Texas license to practice nursing (or temporary/compact license).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• CNOR certification preferred; additional certifications may be required based on discipline.
• 3+ years in clinical practice and 1+ year in supervision/management.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the patient care department, forecasting and ensuring staffing coverage.
• Collaborate with physicians, management, and partners to address strategic initiatives and goals.
• Participate in systemic evaluation of programs, process improvement, and patient-centered outcomes.
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and adherence to policies within budget and time constraints.
• Promote staff development through feedback, training, and mentorship.
• Serve as preceptor and resource to less experienced staff.
• Demonstrate Memorial Hermann service standards by delivering compassionate, personalized care.
