Job summary

Qualifications

• One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred, in some departments may be required.
• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work various shifts for extended periods as determined by the director.
• Ability to perform duties requiring standing, walking, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist OR Department Clinical Manager with planning, organizing and scheduling department workload.
• Oversee departmental employees; provide daily feedback, assist with performance appraisals and training.
• Inspect facility condition and take corrective actions.
• Prepare patients and environment according to age/needs; transport patients as needed; move supplies and specimens between departments.
• Collaborate to provide staffing resources for the Holding Area.
• Ensure safe care within budgetary specifications and policies.
• Promote professional growth and serve as mentor and preceptor.
• Model compassionate, personalized and efficient patient experiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
