Job summary

Resurgens Orthopaedics is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI scans for musculoskeletal care. You will work with radiologists and orthopedic staff to provide accurate imaging and patient-centered service.

The role requires 1–3 years of MRI experience, ARRT MRI certification, CPR/AED, and familiarity with GE, Siemens or Philips scanners, DICOM, and PACS. You will ensure safety, proper protocol adherence, and effective image review and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of MRI imaging experience, preferably in an orthopedic or musculoskeletal setting.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT MRI certification.
• CPR/AED certification is required; knowledge of GE/Siemens/Philips MRI systems and DICOM/PACS.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans following established protocols and physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for optimal image quality while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Screen patients for contraindications such as implanted devices or metal objects.
• Administer contrast agents per safety guidelines and physician directives.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment with routine quality control checks.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to adverse reactions.
• Document procedures and imaging results in EMR with accuracy.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic staff to review images for accuracy.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and address questions.
