Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners seeks a skilled MRI Technician to join our growing network of orthopedic practices. You will perform MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

The ideal candidate has ARRT registration, a two-year radiology program, and at least two years of MRI experience, with strong patient service and teamwork skills. This on-site role offers competitive pay and access to a broad network and resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved school of radiology (two-year program).
• Valid X-Ray/MRI Technician license and ARRT registered.
• Minimum two years' experience as MRI Tech preferred.
• Orthopedic and/or neurological experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients for MRI of various parts of the body, including setting up coils and monitors.
• Screens patients for ferromagnetic objects and contraindications.
• Selects pulse sequences per protocol and records them accurately.
• Evaluates scan quality and manipulates images for physician review.
• Sends images to PACS and verifies exam completeness.
• Performs daily Quality Assurance tests on equipment.
