Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s Orthopaedics sales team in Sacramento seeks a Sales Associate to support DePuy Synthes products in hospital settings. You will assist surgeons in the operating room, ensure equipment readiness, and help expand the customer base across your territory.

The role emphasizes clinical product knowledge, strong relationship skills, and the ability to travel as needed. A bachelor’s or equivalent qualification is required, with relevant medical/clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience or 4 years in a relevant field.
• Ability to travel, including weekends/overnight as needed.
• Willingness to relocate to territory and work in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in retaining and expanding customer base within assigned territory.
• Guide surgeons in operating rooms with clinical and product knowledge.
• Attend surgeries and ensure proper equipment availability and readiness.
• Provide technical assistance and manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Prepare sales reports and maintain customer/procedure insights.
