Job summary

Johnson & Johnson, the parent company behind DePuy Synthes, seeks a Sales Associate for the Sacramento, CA territory. This role combines clinical insight with field sales to support surgeons and hospitals, expanding the DePuy Synthes portfolio across orthopaedics disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CST/PT or similar certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related sales or clinical experience.
• 4+ years of professional and/or related experience.
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty.

Responsibilities

• Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and penetrating existing customers and pursuing new ones.
• Guide surgeons in the operating room with clinical and product knowledge; demonstrate proper use of DePuy Synthes products.
• Support customers by attending surgeries and advising on equipment availability and tray optimization.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance; manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share customer and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing and strategic teams; prepare sales reports.
• Maintain/track deployment of equipment across the territory; ensure materials are up to date and promotional content is presentable.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and retention; demonstrate value of DPS products compared to competition.
