Surgery Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the physician and care teams in a patient-focused clinic. The MA will assist with safe, effective patient care, accurately taking vital signs, charting in electronic medical records, and coordinating between providers to keep the schedule flowing smoothly.

Strong customer service and teamwork are essential. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, 2+ years MA experience (Orthopedic/Pain a plus), MA Certification

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years MA experience and/or orthopedic/pain experience preferred.
• MA certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, effective patient care.
• Work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately perform vital signs and document in EMR.
• Be a resource for clinical staff and assist providers.
• Draw up medications for providers as needed.
• Assist with in-office procedures and post-visit turnover.
• Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.
