Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our clinics and clinical staff. You will help ensure excellent patient service, assist with exams and procedures, and maintain accurate patient documentation in our EHR system.

The role requires at least one year of MA experience and CPR certification. A positive, energetic pace and dependable attendance are essential to keep patient flow smooth and care timely.

Qualifications

• Requirements include at least one year of experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in an orthopaedic environment is a plus.
• Strong focus on patient experience and compassionate care.
• Ability to manage patient flow and maintain timely care.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients from waiting room to exam room.
• Take patient histories, chief complaints, vital signs, and prepare for examination.
• Review charts for completeness and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Administer injections and assist with scheduling tests and treatments.
• Coordinate surgeries including scheduling and insurance pre-certification.
