Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is the largest orthopaedic surgery group in Tennessee, with over 20 locations statewide. We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and administrative staff in delivering exceptional patient care across our clinics.

Qualified candidates hold an MA certification, at least one year of experience (preferably in orthopaedics), CPR certification, and a patient-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Medical Assistant Certification from a recognized body.
• At least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant; orthopaedic setting is a plus.
• CPR certification required; patient-focused care and compassion are essential.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for evaluation.
• Take medical histories, chief complaints, vitals, and assist with examinations and treatments.
• Review charts and ensure documentation is complete in the EHR.
