Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Columbia, TN clinics. The role supports clinicians, helps prepare patients for exams, and ensures smooth daily operations with a strong emphasis on compassionate patient care.

Qualificações

• One year of experience as a medical assistant.
• Orthopaedic experience is a plus.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong focus on patient experience and compassionate care.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients from waiting room to exam room.
• Take patient histories, chief complaints, vital signs, and prepare for examination.
• Review patient charts for completeness.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures (aspirations, injections, X-rays).
• Administer injections and manage dressings as directed by physician.
• Coordinate scheduling of tests, treatments, and surgeries if needed.
• Maintain patient files in the EHR and document as necessary.
