Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinics across Middle Tennessee.

You will escort patients, take histories and vital signs, prepare for examinations and procedures, and support scheduling and documentation. A minimum of 1 year of MA experience is preferred; CPR certification and a patient-first attitude are essential. TOA offers a collaborative work environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients from waiting room to exam room.
• Take patient histories, chief complaints, vitals, and prepare patients for examination and treatment.
• Review patient charts for completeness and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Administer injections and assist with scheduling tests and treatments.
• Coordinate patient surgeries including scheduling and insurance coordination.
• Maintain patient files in the EHR and document as necessary.
