Job summary

NTO Physician Partners PLLC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced orthopedic environment. You will prepare patients for examinations, assist with casting and bracing, and maintain EMR documentation to ensure seamless care for patients and providers.

Role requires strong communication, clinical practice expertise, and ability to manage diverse responsibilities. Travel between sites may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for visit by directing/accompanying to exam or X-ray room and assisting with positioning.
• Interviews patient and records medical histories; may order X-rays per provider order or protocol.
• Assists health care providers during examinations as directed.
• Performs dressing changes, takes vital signs, performs blood draws, applies/removes casts or splints, removes sutures or staples; prepares lab requests.
