Job summary

The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, OrthoMaryland Division is seeking a team-oriented Medical Assistant for our busy orthopaedic practice. Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and Physicians, you will provide medical assistance to doctors during examinations and treatment of patients.

This is a full-time, in-person role with competitive compensation and benefits. Prior orthopaedic experience and AMT/AAMA certification are preferred, along with EMR proficiency and strong

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Experience in an orthopaedic practice preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and flexible approach required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology is necessary.
• Exhibits strong customer service in daily interactions.

Responsibilities

• Supports efficient patient flow in clinical areas.
• Ensures patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Assists patients before exams and procedures; keeps them comfortable.
• Records chief complaint and medical history as needed.
• Prepares injections as ordered by physician.
• Maintains order in examination and treatment rooms.
