OrthoAtlanta, a leading orthopedic and sports medicine practice in Georgia, is hiring an Orthopedic Medical Assistant to support patient care on-site in Stockbridge. You will escort patients, assist with intake, and coordinate care under the supervision of orthopedic specialists.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, collaboration with a dedicated healthcare team, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Ortho Tech program (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ year of medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems (Epic preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of professionalism and patient confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with dressing/undressing, and ensure comfort and privacy.
• Accurately review patient registration details, collect necessary forms, and complete EMR intake documentation.
• Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage medical clearances for surgeries.
• Manage patient callbacks regarding messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor and respond to physician queues.
• Demonstrate proper fitting and usage of durable medical equipment (DME) like braces and soft goods when needed.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented to ensure smooth patient interactions in a busy clinic.

What You'll Do

As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Ortho Tech program (or equivalent experience)
