Job summary

OrthoAtlanta, LLC is seeking an Orthopedic Medical Assistant for full-time, on-site work in Johns Creek and Lawrenceville, GA. You will guide patients, collect registrations, coordinate care, and support DME needs in a fast-paced clinic.

You will collaborate with top orthopedic specialists, ensure accurate EMR documentation, and help maintain patient privacy and comfort while contributing to professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA/MA or Ortho Tech program (or equivalent) preferred.
• 1+ year of medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems (Epic preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with dressing/undressing while ensuring comfort and privacy.
• Review patient registrations, collect forms, and complete EMR intake documentation.
• Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage surgical clearances.
• Manage patient callbacks, messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor physician queues.
• Demonstrate proper fitting and usage of durable medical equipment (DME) like braces and soft goods when needed.

What You'll Do

As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Ortho Tech program (or equivalent experience)

• 1+ year of medical office experience preferred
