Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse on the Orthopedic Med/Surg Unit at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center – West Bank Campus in Minneapolis, MN. The Orthopedic Med/Surg RN will care for adult patients with complex orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements, revisions, and tumor removals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license from MN Board of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for all ages.
• Collaborate with health care team to coordinate care and ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for assigned patients.
• Monitor and manage medications and infusions; respond to patient condition changes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional practice standards.
