Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center – West Bank, located in Minneapolis, MN. The role covers patient assessment, planning, intervention, and outcome evaluation for patients of all ages, with emphasis on stabilization and rapid care in emergencies.

The position is 0.75 FTE (60 hours over two weeks) with a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7:30am) and every third weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• ADN/ASN required.
• Current MN RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across age groups in the Emergency Department.
• Plan and implement nursing interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Monitor and administer medications and therapies per physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure timely stabilization and safe discharge.
