Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. seeks an Orthopedic Medical Assistant - Lead to supervise and train Orthopedic Medical Assistants in an ambulatory setting. You will schedule the team, assist with patient care, and support physicians with casts, splints, and minor procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes leadership in staffing, training, and ensuring high-quality patient interactions per the iCare framework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or graduation from an accredited program preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Orthopedic team with patient flow, rooming, and education during visits.
• Assist with minor procedures, casting/splinting, and suture/staple removal.
• Obtain patient vitals and document accurately in the medical record.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance reviews with leadership.
• Maintain professional conduct and provide exceptional service per iCare standards.
