Job summary

In this role you will document in PM and EHR, maintain patient confidentiality, answer phones, and help keep the waiting area organized and welcoming for all patients during daily clinic flow.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail; accuracy in data entry and scheduling.
• 2 years of experience scheduling and registering patients in a clinical setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient registration and data input into EMR/PM systems.
• Schedule and optimize the provider's calendar; coordinate with Clinic Lead/Provider.
• Answer phones, emails, and patient inquiries; distribute correspondence.
• Verify insurance, collect copays, and manage balances.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
• Keep waiting area clean, organized, and stocked; handle miscellaneous admin tasks.
