Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand/Perform training on practice management software.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone in prompt, courteous manner and routes calls; creates notes in EMR.
• Be the first point of contact for patients: greet, check in/out, provide service.
• Manage schedule and assist with insurance verification.
• Support front desk by keeping it organized and running smoothly.
• Index patient documents to correct chart and route electronic faxes.
• Assist with other duties as needed during down time.
