Job summary

Smith+Naphew seeks a Fellows' Manager to develop lifelong advocates across Sports Medicine, Adult Reconstruction, and Trauma in the Western U.S. You will build relationships with fellows and fellowship programs, serving as the experts on our education offerings and products.

Travel up to 50% is required, with extensive collaboration across Medical Education and Marketing to tailor programs. You will lead transitions to practice, coordinate curricula, and identify gaps for targeted learning,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within medical device sales, medical education, clinical specialist, market development, orthopedic healthcare, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic operating room procedures, training processes, and surgeon education.
• Experience working within Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, or similar orthopedic specialties.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with fellows and fellowship programs across the Western Region.
• Serve as the primary Smith+Naphew expert for the fellows segment, creating engagement strategies that increase awareness of our technologies and educational offerings.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of fellowship programs, fellow engagement, training curricula, and exposure to Smith+Naphew products and techniques.
• Identify educational gaps and coordinate targeted learning opportunities that expand fellows' exposure to Smith+Naphew technologies.
• Drive attendance and awareness for regional and national fellows' education programs.
• Lead the Transition to Practice process, partnering with commercial teams to ensure a seamless experience as fellows enter independent clinical practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and commercial teams to maximize engagement.
• Design and implement customized educational programs that address the needs of individual fellowship programs.
• Prioritize fellowship programs based on engagement, strategic value, and business objectives.
• Share best practices across the Fellows' Manager team and provide regular reporting.
• Support fellowship programs across North America as needed.
