OrthoVirginia Inc. is seeking a DME Coordinator to join our onsite clinical operations in Richmond, VA. You will fit, dispense, and educate patients on orthopedic DME while coordinating pre-surgical fittings and ensuring insurance requirements are met.

The role emphasizes documenting accurately, collecting payments, managing inventory, and collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Competenze

• Healthcare experience or patient-facing background preferred.
• DME, orthotics/bracing, or medical documentation experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Fit and dispense prescribed orthopedic DME and educate patients on use.
• Coordinate pre-surgical DME fittings and ensure patients have the equipment and education.
• Verify insurance requirements and obtain required patient documentation.
• Collect patient payments for DME as designated by insurance responsibilities.
• Manage daily DME reconciliation and ensure complete, accurate documentation.
• Maintain DME inventory and perform quarterly inventory audits.
• Serve as a DME resource for clinical teams and educate on dispensing processes.
