Job summary

OrthoVirginia in Fair Oaks is seeking a DME Coordinator to fit and dispense orthopedic DME, coordinate pre-surgical fittings, and educate patients on proper use and expectations.

You will verify insurance requirements, collect patient payments, maintain inventory, and collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure accurate documentation and a seamless patient experience. This onsite role offers daytime hours, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Fit and dispense prescribed orthopedic DME and educate patients on use and care.
• Coordinate pre-surgical DME fittings and ensure patients have equipment and education before surgery.
• Verify insurance requirements and obtain necessary patient documentation.
• Collect patient payments for DME according to insurance responsibility.
• Maintain DME inventory and perform quarterly inventory audits.
• Serve as a DME resource for the clinical team and collaborate with providers and leadership.
