Qualifications

• BA or BS preferred; HS diploma required.
• DME/Orthopaedic experience preferred but not required.
• Certification in Athletic Trainer, Orthotic Fitter, or Orthopaedic Tech preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and represents the assigned clinical component and location of OrthoVirginia's DME program.
• Daily measurements and fittings following provider orders.
• Educates patients on proper use and fit of DME and their financial responsibility.
• Works with DME Manager, providers, and staff on policy changes and inventory.
• Manages DME inventory at assigned locations and daily DME duties.
• Supports billing, preauthorization and insurance verification processes.
