Michigan Orthopaedic Surgeons seeks a dedicated DME Coordinator to ensure proper fitting, education, and support for durable medical equipment prescribed by providers.

This role combines clinical knowledge with inventory control, insurance coordination, and precise EMR documentation to deliver an exceptional patient experience in our fast-paced orthopedic practice. You will collaborate with clinicians and billing teams and mentor staff on DME workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, rehab, or DME setting.
• Direct patient care and education experience.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate DME fittings for patients at assigned locations.
• Educate patients on proper use, care, and safety of DME devices.
• Maintain EMR documentation related to DME fittings and inventory.
• Collaborate with Billing, Prior Authorization, and Insurance teams.
• Manage DME inventory and process orders efficiently.
• Train staff on DME fitting techniques and workflows.
