Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, seeks a DME Coordinator to oversee the DME program across Paoli, Exton, and Collegeville. The role emphasizes timely, quality service, policy development, and regulatory compliance while supporting patient care in a multi-location orthopedic setting.

The incumbent will supervise staff, manage records and budgets, and collaborate with physicians and clinicians to ensure optimal DME operations and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors preferred or two years related experience.
• Knowledge of orthopedic casting and immobilization forms.
• Experience educating patients and families on casting topics.

Responsibilities

• Manages the DME program to ensure timely, efficient, and quality DME service.
• Ensures DME is maintained in a clean, safe, and properly functioning manner.
• Provides coverage for DME services at all locations as needed.
• Maintains departmental records and generates reports (inventory, usage trends).
• Develops, recommends, and implements departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with state/federal laws and organizational policies.
• Completes performance evaluations for assigned staff promptly.
• Develops and manages the departmental budget.
