Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, seeks a DME Coordinator to oversee the durable medical equipment program across Paoli, Exton, and Collegeville. You will ensure timely DME services, proper equipment maintenance, and compliance with regulations, while coordinating staffing and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or two years industry-related experience.
• Knowledge of orthopedic casting and immobilization forms and current casting techniques.
• Experience educating patients and families on casting topics.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the DME program to ensure timely, efficient service for patients and families.
• Maintain DME equipment, cleaning, safety, and proper functioning at all locations.
• Provide coverage for DME services at Paoli, Exton, and Collegeville as needed.
• Maintain departmental records and generate reports (inventory, usage trends).
• Develop, recommend, and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and organizational standards.
• Complete performance evaluations for assigned staff promptly.
• Develop departmental budget and manage expenses within limits.
