OrthoCarolina in Charlotte is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant to support orthopedic patient care from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. You will assist with routine procedures, patient education, triage calls, and help the physician team in diagnosing and treating patients, while maintaining accurate documentation in EPIC.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited medical assisting, athletic training, or nursing program, or possess equivalent certification, with EMT/ATC credentials

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing.
• Certification is required; CMA/RMA or EMT/ATC credentials enhance candidacy.
• National certifications may be required/encouraged per role guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems and completing phone triage.
• Casting, bracing, suture/staple removal, and assisting with injections.
• Providing patient education and coordinating care with physicians and staff.
