Job summary

OrthoCarolina in Ballantyne is hiring a full-time Clinical Assistant to coordinate orthopedic patient care, perform routine procedures, and support the physician team. You will update notes in EPIC, handle triage calls, and educate patients on care plans.

Qualified candidates include graduates of accredited medical assisting programs with certification. New grads are welcome; travel to other OC locations may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing.
• Certification is required for the role.
• CMA/RMA registration or equivalent certification is expected.
• EMTs and ATCs may have specific certifications as noted.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Update clinical notes in electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Complete phone triage and coordinate patient care.
• Casting and bracing as needed for orthopedic patients.
• Perform routine office procedures and testing.
• Provide patient education and care coordination.
• Assist physician/mid‑level provider with examinations and procedures.
