Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant for our Pediatric location in Charlotte. The role involves coordinating orthopedic patient care, routine office procedures, patient education, and effective communication with physicians and staff. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a–5p.

The Clinical Assistant will update notes in EPIC, perform phone triage, assist with casting/bracing, and support the practitioner in examinations and treatments. Travel to other OC locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing.
• Certification is required.
• CMA/RMA must be registered/certified through recognized bodies.
• EMTs require EMT certification.
• ATCs must be board certified as Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems.
• Completing phone triage.
