Job summary

OrthoCarolina is hiring a Clinical Assistant to support orthopedic patient care. The role involves updating notes in the electronic medical record, triage by phone, casting/bracing, and performing routine procedures under physician supervision.

You will educate patients, document histories, vitals, and medications in EPIC, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure high-quality care. This is a full-time position in our Charlotte-area offices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing.
• Certification is required (CMA/RMA or equivalent).
• EMR experience with Epic preferred and ability to document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Update clinical notes in EMR systems.
• Complete phone triage and patient communication.
• Assist with casting, bracing and routine office procedures.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and mid-level providers.
• Support administrative tasks and office workflows.
