Job summary

Orthopaedic Associates of Maine is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support daily clinic operations under the supervision of the Clinic Manager and in collaboration with physicians, APPs, and schedulers. You will document patient care, manage pre-authorization workflows, and coordinate pre-operative testing and follow-up visits.

Responsibilities include updating charts, arranging labs/imaging, and communicating with patients about wound care and post-op plans.

Qualifications

• LPN with Maine license or eligible for licensure.
• Medical Assistant CMA/RMA credentials are acceptable.
• Experience in Orthopaedics or similar clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinic operations with clinic manager and physicians.
• Document patient care, wound care, and medication dosages in the EHR.
• Prepare charts for visits and ensure all records are complete.
• Schedule appointments and manage prior authorizations as required.
• Communicate with patients via portal, phone, and in person per protocol.
