Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an Orthopaedic Technician to support surgeons, fellows, and nursing staff in applying and removing casts and splints.

The role includes inventory management, order processing, and maintaining supply par levels within a Pediatric/Adult care environment. The position will primarily work at the Lincoln Park Outpatient Center with occasional travel to satellite locations, including Northbrook and Schaumburg.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two years of college/technical school preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• NBOT Certification preferred.
• Two years hospital casting/splint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and integrate patient care needs across neonatal to adult patients.
• Apply and remove body casts, splints, and related appliances.
• Order, inventory, and maintain orthopaedic supplies and equipment.
