Reno Orthopedic Center in Reno, NV is seeking a Cast/DME Technician to join our orthopedic care team. You will apply and remove casts, splints, and durable medical equipment, supporting patient treatment and recovery at our main location.

Qualifications

• Experience casting or splinting, or ER/EMT background.
• Ability to educate patients on DME and wound care.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Apply and remove casts, splints, and DME.
• Remove sutures and provide wound care.
• Assist with pin extraction and care.
• Educate patients on DME use and POD.
• Document care and charges in EMR.
• Prepare rooms and assist during procedures.
• Maintain casting and supply rooms.
• Room patients and manage clinic flow.
