Temple University Health System, Inc. is seeking an Orthopedic Extender Navigator to provide patient access and care as a navigator, triaging clinical questions and coordinating with patients and providers.

The role supports physicians, athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons, APPs and staff in outpatient orthopedic surgery settings. Requires a Bachelor's in Athletic Training; 5 years of orthopedic experience; and active certifications.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree Athletic Training required.
• Master's Degree Athletic Training accredited program preferred.
• 5 years of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Certified Athletic Trainer required; PA Athletic Trainer required; Basic Life Support required.

Responsabilidades

• Triage clinical questions and concerns; act as liaison between patients, providers and clinical staff.
• Assist physicians, athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons, APPs and staff with patient care in outpatient clinics.
• Prepare charts for visits and testing approvals; support procedure/surgery scheduling.
• Respond to patient phone inquiries and support regulatory readiness and inventory.
