Job summary

TRIA seeks an EMT, LPN, or CMA Navigator to join our orthopedic team. The Navigator coordinates care and supports patient and family experiences across clinics, collaborating with physicians and care teams to optimize health and participation.

The role involves multi-skilled duties including triage, insurance checks, rooming, and post-operative care, with emphasis on customer service and accurate documentation in real time.

Qualifications

• LPN/MA/EMT considered for the Navigator role.
• Current BLS certification required; online BLS not accepted.
• One+ year nursing/related medical experience preferred.
• LPN MN/WI license and MA credential where applicable.
• EMT must have MN & WI EMT license and a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across the department and enterprise as directed by physicians.
• Handle clinic appointment check-in, insurance verification, and co-payment collection.
• Assist with rooming, history & evaluation, and documentation in real time.
• Support post-operative care, wound care, and rehabilitation activities.
• Operate with knowledge of EMR/PACS and other medical equipment as needed.
