Job summary

The Program Manager for the Department of Orthopaedics at Vanderbilt Health provides comprehensive administrative, operational, marketing, and event support. Based on the 4th floor of MCE South Tower in Nashville, you will manage databases, support faculty, and coordinate communications and events to advance clinical and educational missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 3+ years of administrative/academic program experience.
• Experience supporting academic medicine, education programs, and event coordination preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental databases, generate reports, and ensure data integrity.
• Develop promotional materials and manage communications for educational programs.
• Coordinate newsletters, website content, and marketing activities with internal teams.
• Plan and coordinate department meetings, conferences, and events, including logistics.
• Support onboarding of new faculty and assist with academic/administrative projects.
