Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Orthopaedic NP/PA to join a collaborative team in Boston, with a mix of operating room duties and outpatient clinic management. You will work with a surgeon on general orthopaedics, sports procedures, shoulders and knees, maintaining your own patient panel and clinic schedule.

The role offers a full-time 40-hour week, no nights or weekends, and no on-call responsibilities, with outpatient work at Chestnut Hill and OR cases at NE Baptist Hospital, plus

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant is required.
• PA license and MA DPH-DCP registration with DEA prescriptive authority.
• 0–1 year of related work experience required.
• ARC-PA and NCCPA certification; Basic Life Support.
• Proficiency with computer systems and MS Office applications.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs histories and physical examinations and develops care plans.
• Orders/ interprets labs and tests; educates patients and families.
• Acts as a clinical resource; coordinates care across teams.
• Consults with physicians for complex diagnoses.
• Documents encounters clearly; works with health professionals.
• Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care.
