Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide consultative medical support for orthopedic and surgical patients. Responsibilities include initial consultations for high-risk post-operative patients and daily follow-ups in a hospital setting.

The role requires acute care inpatient experience, Massachusetts licensure, and NCCPA or AANP certification, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with surgical teams and case managers.

Competenze

• Master’s degree required in a related field.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program or masters in NP program.
• Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts and board certification.

Mansioni

• Assist orthopedic and other surgical teams with consultations and rounds.
• Perform histories and physicals, order tests, and document care plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning with case management and physicians.
• Educate patients and families; participate in education and research activities.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to OR policies.
