Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Orthopaedic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH. The role covers perioperative care, inpatient rounding, ED consults, and OR first- and second-assist duties in collaboration with orthopaedic surgeons.

Experience of 1–3 years in orthopaedic surgery is preferred; a Master’s degree in an NP/PA program, NH license or eligibility, and national certification (NCCPA for PA; RNFA optional for NP) are required along with BLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• NH license or eligible.
• NP: National certification + RNFA program completion & required OR hours.
• PA: National certification via NCCPA.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve 1st and 2nd surgical assistant in the Operating Room.
• Inpatient rounds, follow-up care, ED consults, and progress notes.
• Perform health assessments, establish differential diagnoses, order diagnostic studies, and manage procedures.
• Prescribe medications per NH guidelines.
• Lead quality/improvement initiatives and support certification efforts.
