Job summary

Cantor and Ziegler Orthodontics in Carlisle, PA is looking for a motivated Treatment Coordinator to guide patients from the initial consultation through the start of treatment. You will explain options, assist with scheduling, and discuss financial plans in a friendly, patient‑centered manner.

This role collaborates with clinicians and staff to optimize patient flow, manage records, and support a smooth orthodontic journey.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in orthodontics, dentistry, or a healthcare patient-facing role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-centered approach.
• Knowledge of dental insurance processes and treatment financing options.

Responsibilities

• Greet and consult with new patients and families, explaining treatment options and financial arrangements.
• Present and review treatment plans recommended by the orthodontist in a clear and approachable manner.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-ups, and case starts to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Utilize iTero digital scans, 3D models, X-rays and photos to show treatment benefits.
• Manage financial consultations, including insurance verification and payment plan discussions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the practice management software.
• Manage the lead pipeline by tracking incomplete consultations and pending contracts.
• Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative team members to optimize patient flow.
• Follow up with prospective patients to answer questions and encourage case acceptance.
• Pay is dependent on experience.
